Job Summary

The Business Analyst¬† plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the company’s various departments and business units. This position is responsible for understanding business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to facilitate informed decision-making. The Business Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements, and ensure that solutions align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Years of Experience

4+ years of relevant experience including a minimum of 2 years of experience in a process-oriented company in the IT sector

Level of Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation and Documentation

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for projects.
  • Translate business needs into clear and comprehensive requirements documents, including use cases, user stories, and process flows.
  • Maintain and update requirement documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Data Analysis

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the organization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements.

System Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

Change Management

  • Support change management efforts by assisting in the development of training materials and participating in user training sessions.

Project Management

  • Assist in project planning and monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers to prioritize tasks and resources.

Project Management

  • Act as a liaison between various departments and business units, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and issues.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and issue logs.
  • Generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making.
