Position Summary

Using our ticketing system, you will be responsible for supporting both our internal and external customer base with hosting and Cloud services. You will do this while serving our customers in a manner that is above and beyond their expectations, meeting SLAs for customer inquiry handling and escalation management. You will need to be proactive in your responses and capable of recognizing and acting on opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to phone and email technical requests.
  • Monitor and interpret alarms to understand the impact on the platform and services to customers.
  • Assess technical issues, troubleshoot and take appropriate actions to resolve the issue.
  • Work with senior engineering groups and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the technology platform of a company or organization.
  • Carry out patching and restoring backups on both Windows and Linux-based environments.
  • Perform changes to the platform as per the scheduled changes and implement them with a high degree of success.

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years using Linux (RHEL).
  • 2+ years using Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Solid understanding of VMware/Virtualization.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory.
  • Experienced with Web & database server applications (Apache, ISS, MySQL, MSSQL).
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
  • cPanel & WHM Systems Administrator Certification (CWSA-1).
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of DNS.
