Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist with 3-5 years of professional experience in Software Testing (Manual and Automation) and Quality Assurance practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in testing APIs, web applications, and databases, along with expertise in functional and non-functional testing methodologies. Proficiency in test automation frameworks, particularly with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for APIs, web applications, and databases.
• Perform various types of testing, including Functional (System, Integration, Regression) and Non-Functional (Performance, Stress, Database) testing.
• Develop and maintain Test Automation Frameworks, leveraging appropriate code libraries to enhance testing efficiency.
• Utilize tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java to implement and maintain automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using defect-tracking tools.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve application quality.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and standards throughout the SDLC.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong expertise in testing APIs, web applications, and databases.
• Proficient in performing different types of testing: Functional (System, Integration, Regression) and Non-Functional (Performance, Stress, Database).
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing Test Automation Frameworks.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java for test automation.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Postman, or similar for defect tracking and API testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.
